Help with managing anxiety

Sorry in advance if this post gets a bit long.😬😂

I'm finding myself getting into an episode of anxiety at the moment and I can't seem to put my finger on why. Twice this week, I've woken up and had a huge panic attack, heart racing, feeling breathless, chest /abdominal pain, horrible feeling of doom etc. I'm pretty sure this is from a couple of weeks ago when I had horrible gum pain at night on holiday in EuroDisney, after eating the most sugary ice cream ... the pain was awful and felt never ending. I didn't sleep well so consequently it made the last day of our stay not as enjoyable 😞

Then a couple of days ago, I had a horrible pain in my big toe after a day walking and shopping. It's gone now thank goodness, but it was throbbing at night again, and I think the anxiety of not sleeping because of the pain became a vicious circle.

Anyway. After all this, I've felt jittery this week, being silly about minor things and have a constant feeling of worry I can't shake off.

I've had a breakdown years ago so I know how debilitating it is, and need to stop this before it spirals.

Any tips/breathing exercises etc please?

Sorry to post this in chat, it's just for traffic.

No caffeine, lots of exercise, meditation - I like Michael Galyon on Insight timer. Yoga, no sugar - it makes my heart race don't eat late, in fact try to leave 4hrs between eating and bed for a deeper sleep.
Talk to someone, I had counselling last year and it made so much difference.

Breathe. Never under estimate the power of stopping and taking some deep breaths.

I was also going to suggest meditation and breathing.

Remove any stress you can - be as organised and routine as possible. Lay out tomorrow's clothes, pack your bag early, prep meals calmly.

If you genuinely enjoy socialising then do it but if you genuinely enjoy quiet then respect that.

Accept the way you feel and work to support yourself, don't try to power through or ignore.

This is my favourite 😊

Are you sure it's anxiety, not physical? Everything you've described - except the big toe - could be early warning signs of a heart problem, Covid, or various other things. At the same time, I apologise because I don't want to make you more anxious!

Maybe breathe, walk mindfully outdoors, do your affirmations and make a doctor's appointment 💐
