Can anyone recommend UK based dramas?

I find a strange comfort in watching UK based dramas, I enjoy seeing the “mundane” and familiar everyday things on my screen, road signs, shop fronts etc. Loved Dr Foster, Line of Duty, ITV dramas like Liar. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'd also post in Telly Addicts, or MNHQ could shift it over 🙂

The Split (although they take off to France or Italy or somewhere in the last series)

Spain! That’s only a two-parter, though, and the previous three seasons are totally London-set (and great).

Shetland? Lots of past seasons, incredible scenery and knitwear. New season just started on BBC last week.

Netflix is cheap on the basic package. I watched 'The Feud' last night, and while it is far fetched, it was something enjoyable to have on in the background while doing admin. Lots of shows on there. I am not an avid TV watcher but I have been getting some use out of netflix lately.

Edge Of Darkness (London, Yorkshire, Lakes)

Edge of Darkness is brilliant. I thought it would have dated but it was gripping. Such good acting.
