"well what can I say" and other social media pet peeves.

I'm wondering what else annoys people about social media?
I've noticed an increase on Facebook (I don't use others) of people starting a post with: "Well, what can I say?" This isn't the Oscars, buddy — this is a post about Remembrance Sunday.
"Admin please delete if not aloud" (their spelling, not mine).
"Need gone." Usually when on one of those local giving pages and it's 7pm at night wanting it gone that night.

Oh and this silly trend of using question marks as full stops

Yes I find this perplexing and irritating. I’ve wondered if it’s because of the vocal habit of finishing a sentence with rising intonation, as though it is a question.

There is a woman on our local FB and she just posts absolutely everything in her brain and ‘does anyone know’ YES, GOOGLE KNOWS

Examples

do you know how many spaces are in X car park and am I likely to get one at 10am?

Does anywhere round here sell AA batteries?

Does Anyone know the train times?

Does Anyone know how I can get my fire stick TV remote to work?

Does anyone know what’s the best path to walk on in the mornings down the road?

Does anyone know what time the sun sets?

”This one” referring to a friend or relative.
”Feeling blessed” you’re on a Tui holiday in Faliriki mate, calm down.
Tippy-tappy nails on stuff people are trying to flog.
Finger-wagging and head-shaking to show us what we should not be doing. Like primary school teachers spotting us doing something unspeakable at carpet time.
Current peeve is ‘Autumn days’ accompanied by pictures of leaves. Kids in leaves, dogs in leaves, whimsical ‘boots in leaves’ shots. And fingerless gloved hands cradling hot chocolate when it’s 15 degrees outside. Fuck off.

😂😂😂

People asking really vague questions and 99% of the responses are people asking the same question for more information. For example, I'm in a London tourist group and a lot of people ask how they get from the airport to their hotel

not a week goes by without someone on the local FB page asking for recommendations for a Sunday roast, when they could have typed that into a search on the group. They always get 20 different answers, probably from purveyors of Sunday roasts, so not even helpful

Coming back to add another one - birthday wishes to dead people.

I don't mind the 'happy heavenly birthday' ones, it's this type of one that is not my cup of tea:

Happy birthday grandad, you would have been 115 today.

*I don't own the rights to this music'

Yeah Karen from Shrewsbury we did not assume you went back in time to ask Elvis his permission.

A Vinted pet hate of mine is "selling due to weight loss" 🙄Nicely combining a not-so-humblebrag with a subtle hint that you're a big fat heifer because you still need jeans in that size.

Weird tributes to their kids on birthdays when the child isn’t even on socials.
Saying stuff like ‘to my sassy, fierce, beautiful blah blah , I’m proud of you every day blah blah.
It’s more a humble brag of their own parenting and very strange to me.
Usually accompanied by a heavily filtered photo of them and said ‘perfect beautiful’ child.

Oh god, this. Just walk into the kitchen and tell them to their face 🙄

"Hey lovely people in my phone" makes me so angry, I'm not in your phone, in sat here on the train or in my living room, a real live 3d person.

What makes my toes curl is when it’s me that’s in being called “lovely” as though it’s my name. “Hello lovely are we going out on Saturday”

And it seems compulsory to end every message with xx
