Good Morning All! What's everyone doing today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my kitchen spot. Dd2's sat opposite me, and girl cat's mooching about the kitchen. Dd1's still in bed but could do with being up soon as she wanted to look at new phones before leaving for London this afternoon.

We have absolutely no plans for the day! Dd1 wants to look at phones, then needs to pack the things she's taking back with her. Dd2 wants to carry on her exam prep and revision, and needs to finish off her bedroom.

I'm going to pack a Vinted parcel, look at phones with dd1, maybe have a wander to the locker with the parcel and drop dd at the station.

Not a clue what's for tea yet 🤔. Maybe sausages & chips with some sort of veg and Yorkshire puddings. I'll have to actually defrost sausages though!

This evening will most certainly be early showers, and early nights all round, ready for work & school tomorrow.

Afternoon all! Struggling today as I didn’t sleep after about 2am plus I have stomach ache 😢 Trying to plan the week ahead as I’m moving in with my folks from Mon to Fri until DBro returns. They don’t live far away so I can easily pop home if I need anything. Going to dig out my overnight bag & toiletry bag in a bit.
Quite a busy morning. As I was up, I did the prep for the slow cooker sausage casserole including scrubbing & thinly slicing new potatoes. Made DH a cuppa to have in bed. DD16 & I went to Aldi for some bits which ended up being £23 worth. Then we went for one of our drives & I dropped DD home before popping into town to return a pair of boots ordered online to TK Maxx. Resisted looking at all their Christmas stuff! Have just had a cuppa & contemplating a late lunch. Need to catch up with Friday’s Corrie. Will watch the Strictly results tonight & maybe a film if I can stay awake!

I've got a cold brewing, and what with that, and my antisocial neighbour blasted bass until gone midnight, I didn't sleep very well.

I went out to the cinema to see 'The Choral', having liked the trailer. It was fine, but nothing very special. I think you'd have to be a real choir nerd to enjoy it properly. I am, but felt it was too much music, and not enough characters. The Ralph Fiennes character was advertised as the main character, and was heavily featured in the first 2/3rds, but faded into nothing in the final part! There was heavy implication his character was gay and his German partner had been KIA, but that wasn't explored any further than him receiving a telegram after an announcement of a German ship sinking. All in all, enjoyable for what it was, but pretty flawed in places.

Came out soon after 2pm, and took advantage of some McDonalds app points to get a small fries and a chicken burger. So only spent £1.69.

Home and straight outside again to wash the car. I'd parked under a tree on Thursday, and got liberally splatted with bird poo, so that needed sorting.

Plan for the remainder of the afternoon is to sort out planning and resources for my tutoring lessons this coming week. Then a lazy evening. :)

Well, I haven't packed my Vinted parcel yet, but I did look at phones with dd1 before going for a nap. And I dropped her at the station for her train...then cried on the platform like a numpty.

I'm just half doing a list for town this week...not getting far. Scrolling MN and Vinted are much more appealing but cba to go to town if I don't remember what I want!

Had to pick up a JL package from Waitrose so had a nice walk up there for a bit of exercise. Prepped and cooking roast chicken dinner. Lots of washing and drying and a bit of cleaning and tidying . I went to the Theatre last night which was fun and probably drank too much wine before during and after as I needed a lie in today probably also because I nap after work then can’t sleep till ridiculously late later on
