What's for breakfast on this sunny Sunday morning?

I've had my usual yoghurt, mango chunks & chopped nuts, plus latte.

Second breakfast in about two hours' time - will probably involve eggs but not decided yet! 🍳🥓🥑🍅🧀

I've just googled tomato sausages - to see what's in them! 🍅

I heard something on the radio yesterday about black pudding being healthy despite its image - I've never been brave enough to try it.

Try them if you get chance. I was buying the tomato ones for my dad when I saw them and the stall holder gave me a few just to try. I must admit, I was seriously reluctant but they were quite tasty even though I can’t stand black pudding normally. My dad loves the tomato ones but having tried them before, they’re definitely not for me

I had fried bread and Oxford marmalade. But that was hours ago....

These are the best I’ve found, we used to live/work in the US. I’ve been using this recipe, and her other ones for years. I don’t use vinegar, but natural yogurt in the first step and always 1 cup of milk because that portions better for my family (see her recipe notes).

Thank you! Quick question though: doesn’t making the batter the previous night make the pancakes go less fluffy?

I had toasted sourdough bread with apple butter, a mug of tea, and a swig of yogurt kefir.

I had Greek yoghurt mixed with kefir with chia seeds, ground flax, a few walnuts and some nuked frozen berries. Cup of espresso.

Very crisp thin rashers cooked with a slice of bread in the air fryer, so it turned into fried bread, a v small egg scrambled, a bowl of stewed (microwaved) apple, a slice of toast with marmalade, tea. I'm trying to cut down on the tea, so only two mugs. Maybe three.

No need to cut down in tea as it’s so good for you .

I had bacon, avocado and scrambled egg in a wrap with chilli sauce. It was delicious!

Depends how much you drink - I was showing some signs of Thiamine deficiency so needed to be careful. I still consume a lot of tea, and take a vitamin B tablet at night, but needed to set a balance.
