Crealy or Woodlands theme park in devon?

Just trying to work out which annual pass is best to get my dc for Christmas. Have narrowed it down to these 2 but i can't decide. I think crealy is better but it's nearly double the price. Dc are aged between 19 and 11. Some family members have said both crealy and woodlands are too young for my dc and we should go to alton towers once instead. But my 14 and 11 year olds struggle with queues due to autism/adhd so i don't think alton towers is a good idea.

i like woodlands for my 2 year old, the indoor soft play is really good and my 11 year old had fun but doubt he’d want to go too often. My 14 and 11 didn’t like crealy at all I didnt go with them though, so not sure what it’s actually like! Too be honest I wouldn’t get an annual pass to either! I do think with ADHD it be too boring, but if corse every child is different

forgot to add woodlands have the farm animals, and animal feeds etc which is nice

You also need to consider where you are based. I live 15 minutes from Crealy, but an hour from Woodlands. We could nip to Crealy for an hour or so quite easily, but Woodlands is a half day trip. That said, I prefer Woodlands.

Crealy is definitely for younger children, and every time I have taken my children there it has been filthy. I run holiday lets in Devon and my guests have complained about Crealy being dirty and lots of the rides being closed for repair or lack of staff. I like Woodlands but it is weather dependent. I notice your interest in Alton towers and think you need to look at an access card on google. If your child has an access card, there are concessions in entry price (same applies to many attractions so worth checking with all places you might go to). My daughter has autism and went to alton with her father a few months ago. They got a queue jumper pass and he was admitted free as her carer companion.

Thank you. Crealy is just under an hour from us and woodlands is just over an hour so not much difference. I have been to crealy a few times but never been to woodlands, although 2 of the dc have been. I thought alton towers was really strict on who they allow to queue jump. Both the 11 and 14 year old get dla and i have a letter from the youngest 's previous consultant stating that he can't queue but it's 5 years old.

They were not strict with my daughter. It was just based on the symbols on her access card and they wanted to see a copy of her DLA. She has autism and dyspraxia. Crealy accept access cards and Woodlands have a concession ticket. If you want to go to alton or another Merlin attraction, there is an online application form for concessions, and they recommend filing it in at least one week before your planned trip. Personally I would go for longer. We had an admin glitch that took a few weeks to be sorted out their side. However, when she arrived they could not have done more to make her feel welcome and accommodated.

Mine used to enjoy woodlands more as they loved the rope swings, animals and running about the woods as much as the rides. The food at Crealy always seemed over priced and basic and in the summer they had wasp problems. This is a fair few years ago mind!
