Electric shock

Posted for traffic. My electric just tripped so I went to the fuse box to put it back on and got an electric shock on my second finger electric went back off again. Finger feels burnt and my wrist hurts but no red marks. I’ve ran my finger under water. DH has just re tripped it and all seems fine. Should I be worried about the shock I got?

I wouldn't be worried about the shock you received, but I would be worried about getting a shock from the consumer unit. (AKA fuse box).

I would urge you to get an electrician to test it ASAP.

As above:
the shock (electrical discharge) you've had, isn't anything to worry about.
The finger burn isn't a big issue, the wrist discomfort will almost certainly be from a sudden reflex action.

The fact you got a shock from your fuse box means it is effectively 'leaking' electricity, which is dangerous and worrying.
Any discharge from a fuse box, is highly concerning. The chances are it is a loose wire and simple to sort, but is not something to be laissez-faire about, you have the potential for the 'leaking ' electricity to arc across to other components and cause fire.

Please get a qualified electrician in immediately, you are at risk of an electrical fire.
