She had a milk allergy but is growing out of it now and seems to tolerate cheese etc
She’s always had this kind of skin since she was really little but used to be full blown eczema due to the cmpa. She doesn’t really get it anymore but this skin still persist, it’s on her thighs, arms and face, her face can get quite flushed easily and I notice from time to time acne like whiteheads on her cheeks.
is this some form of eczema ?

It looks like keratosis pilaris.

You could ask your GP if it's an allergic reaction, probably better than the Internet

It’s basically just rough, dry skin. Often genetic and runs in families - I’ve always had a fairly mild version, it gets worse in winter and improves in summer in my experience. It’s not painful but it can be itchy and unsightly.

Doesn’t look like eczema to me but I’m not an expert. Pharmacists are usually helpful with rashes.

GPs are not really useful for this type of thing.
when it comes to your child’s health you really need to do your own research especially when it comes to eczema, allergy and gut issues.

Mumsnet helped me diagnose DD’s cmpa, hv didn’t have a clue said to change my washing powder and when I went to the gp I was armed with information, I think if I didn’t go in being so sure they wouldn’t have agreed to trial her on dairy free formula !

Thank you. I do notice it becomes more obvious in the winter and also if we’ve had the heating on, things like that

Yep, both of those things will trigger mine. Aveeno moisturiser helps improve it but there’s no cure unfortunately.
