My husband has a LPof Attorney from 20 years ago, before we married.
His siblings are nominated - not me cos it was before we were even engaged.
He never mentioned this to me and its only now that ive discovered it, in the course of drafting our Wills.
I did a search via the Office of the Public Guardian. It was easy!
Ive shown him a copy of the document a week ago and he still hasn't done anything about cancelling it.
He claims pressure of work stopped him cancelling this week - but I'm not convinced.
What do i do if he refuses to revoke the LP of Attorney?
He's given his siblings control of our mortgage payments if hes incapacitated!
I told him that they cant have control, im not a gambler!
