I’m taking 5yo niece in a couple of weeks, any tips for a first timer please?

Its the best family theme park in the UK by a mile. So clean, short queues and just a lovely place. You will both absolutely love it.

There is a lot in the non PPW bit that is fab for that age so don't miss out the other half of the park.

There are lockers near the entrance so you can stash a picnic in there and collect it later, and nice gardens to eat in.

There is a MacDonalds 5 mins drive from the park if you want extra treat food at the end of the day.

It's easy to think they will love the rides most but my two really love the playground too

If they are fed up of queuing the queues for non Peppa pig world stuff are much shorter

I seem to recall it is a lot quieter at the end of the day

Peopa pig gets quieter late in the day when all the little ones have left, it worked for us to do it after lunch.

Thanks for all the great comments! Are there wet rides/activities (should I pack waterproof trousers!)

We didn't need waterproofs for the rides, but my DD is younger and short for her age so there might have been bigger wet rides she couldn't go on! Definitely do PP world in the afternoon (though if you go straight there the moment the park opens you can also have short/no waits).

It's such a brilliant day out, we've done it twice and will definitely go again. When we went in April we were there from open until closing, we didn't want to leave!

Annual pass holder here 🙋‍♀️ we go most weekends!

As others have mentioned, the other areas are also great, so don’t focus just on PP World.

playgrounds are great, and there is an indoor soft play in PP World if the weather turns.

Best food at the park is at Route 83 diner in Tornado Springs.

You won’t need waterproofs for Splash Lagoon, the only real water ride in the park. It’s not that wet.

Queues are generally short, aside from PP world rides which can go up to half an hour.

Flight of the Pterosaur is probably the best ride in the park and I’m sure your 5y niece would love it.

Have fun!
