Does anyone else love listening to the rain?

I’m currently curled up in bed under my duvet and scrolling on here, it’s been chucking it down all day here and still raining now.
As I’m laid here I’m listening to the rain hitting the window and the wind and find it so relaxing. Added bonus is it’s my day off tomorrow so I get a lie in woo hoo.
I love the summer it’s my favourite season but listening to the rain has definitely started to make me feel more ready to embrace autumn.
Anyone else?

A summer night thunderstorm on a flat corrugated iron roof in Africa is unbeatable. I grew up there and it makes me feel so nostalgia just typing that.

Not so keen on rain when I am walking about in it (seems I've been caught in every downpour there has been recently!) but I absolutely adore listening to the rain whilst indoors.

My kids think I'm mad but I always throw a window open and make them come and sit with me when there is heavy rain. I just feel such gratitude and comfort to be at home, with my family. It brings out a real visceral feeling in me.

I love it. It makes me so grateful to have a warm bed and a roof.

Absolutely not. Do you not have any appreciation of how many homeless people are out on the streets in this weather and how many animals are outside cold and wet with no shelter. I can't bear relentless rain like we've had today in the North West.

so we’re supposed to not enjoy being cosy in our homes because others sadly are not? yeah ok fools 🙄
