Thinking Italy next year.
If you have been, did you fly to get there or drive?
Can you recommend anywhere?
We are older teen, younger teenager, 2 adults.
Love water parks, fun activities, beach type holidays.
Thanks all!!

Went for the first time 2 years ago and loved!!! Way more than I thought (I’m not a fan of centerparc or camping). Going in half term and can’t wait! We haven’t done Italy - we did De Twee Bruggen in Holland and drove. Nice drive actually and felt a lot shorter than it was. Going to somewhere in Belgium next month. Can’t wait! Liked driving to have all our stuff with us, stop when we want, and the tunnel is all good.

If going to Italy - union lido is amazing! Right on the beach and great pools. We drove down to it as it is a spectacular drive down through the alps.

Haven’t been to Italy but we love a eurocamp, we aways drive

We like the ‘Hu’ camps in Italy and we always book their accommodation on site as opposed to Eurocamp. We have done Altomincio and norcenni girasole- both brilliant. We always fly and hire a car.

We went to Bella Italia by Lake Garda last summer and drove. Brilliant holiday and the kids (4, 13, 9) absolutely loved it and enjoyed the road trip to get there staying in different countries.
I'm not a massive Eurocamp fan, but its just brilliant for older kids and teens and we did day trips to Verona and Venice (may favourite bits of the holiday).

Haven’t done Italy but have done some in France and Switzerland. Really enjoyed them. We drove.

Love them. Fab in Italy was del Garda. Flew into Verona train station near by for days trip to Verona and ferry to other lake towns. No need for hire car and a nice town Peshweira in walking distance
