All things Autumn that have given me a cosy autumnal warmth this week

Blustery dog walk on Brancaster beach
Autumn scented candies
A gorgeous butternut squash dahl
Pumpkin Spice Latte

Trying to keep my spirits up

What have been your cozy happy moments this week?

I made marshmallows at the weekend to go in hot chocolate, I've got some gingerbread wax melts and some pumpkin ones, and it's nearly time to pick my butternut squash from the allotment.
I've switched to my autumn/winter perfume (Obsession) and cleaned my leather boots ready for the colder weather.
I love autumn. My birthday is September!

October baby here too. It’s in our DNA isn’t it 😊

October here too but I absolutely love Summer and hot weather. Something about long, hot, hazy summer days that make everything seem fine.

I like Autumn too but not this in-between when it's too hot for a scarf and jacket but too cold for just a jumper.

Can't complain though as we had a gloriously sunny, hot and dry summer.

Lit my Gilmore girls candle from Home Bargains 😄

Read a cheesy autumnal romance book (it was fucking terrible!), now a snarky murder mystery and got a fantasy/horror lined up next!

Used my pumpkin spice shower gel, body butter, body spray and lip gloss 🎃

Bought some pumpkin (design not flavour) biscuits from M&S and tin of pumpkin soup from Sainsbury's.

Went for a windy walk along the beach and through the woods on my lunch break.

Started working my way through my list of autumnal/spooky/dark academia etc films

Finally got out the cable knits, corduroy, tights and boots!

I disagree. I'm a November born and prefer summer.

It's not autumn yet 😉

I'm observing the astronomical dates too 😊

I am using the slow cooker for the first time in a few months to make tonight’s dinner!

Anotherename · 16/09/2025 16:52

Going on a dog walk though the woods - jumper on and perfect temperature- then soup and crusty bread in front of the fire in the pub at the top of the hill.

it’s was one of my favourite afternoons of the year so far.

Picked blackberries and apples for the first crumble of the season last week. This weekend we hid from the rain making butternut squash and lentil soup, spiced apple
cake and a massive roast, and played Monopoly! Plus some beautiful walks between the showers. Blankets on the sofa, winter duvet back on the bed, and a long hot bath last night. I’m enjoying having my tights and boots back on for work too - never feel completely dressed in summer clothes!

I’m a November birthday and also love autumn, though I’m not enjoying having to cycle against the wind to work.

I have a glut of apples so plan on making apple butter in the slow cooker. I don’t gave an oven though, jyst an air fryer, so not sure whether to just save it for toast and porridge or risk a spiced apple cake in the air fryer
