Wedding gift

DH and I are invited to his cousin's wedding, church ceremony followed by a reception at a lovely hotel. They're both early 60s and it's first time for her, second for him. For a gift they would like vouchers but we haven't a clue how much to give. Anyone have an idea what's a suitable amount?
UK by the way.

How close is your DH to his cousin? If it's someone he sees regulary, talks to, meet up - £100. If it is more "see you at major family events" type of relationship - £50

That's from both of you together.

I think £100 is reasonable.

Not very close but they get on well.

Cash - 100.
Unless vouchers are really accessible, cash is king.

They've asked for vouchers, presumably for a particular shop, so give them vouchers. If they've not said which shop, go with M&S as they can use them for food, clothes or towards household items.

£50-100 is plenty but be guided by your own budget rather than what other people think is reasonable or any 'cover your plate' nonsense as their choice of wedding venue is irrelevant when deciding how much your gift should cost.
