What do you wear on your legs this time of year?

The temperatures where I live are currently mid/late teens, but very changeable. A chilly morning can often get quite warm later on, or a nice day can suddenly get wet and cold.

If I'm wearing a dress or skirt in autumn/winter I usually wear boots and thick tights or leggings. It's definitely not got to that yet, but it's now too cold (IMO) for bare legs. I feel doomed to stay in jeans / trousers for the next few weeks.

I'm mid fifties so I should have worked all this out by now! 😆

I take my hat off to all you hardy shorts wearers! I'm guessing you're (probably) not in my neck of the woods (rural Wales) 😂

I think it'll have to be trousers for a while, which is annoying. I love summer, but now looking forward to when I can give in and get the tights back on!

There are different thickness of tights. I’d buy a lighter tight than woolly if I was you.

Leggings but I'm 37 weeks pregnant and aside from maxi dress they are all that fits!

Maxi dresses. Covers my legs enough and sweater on top that can come off. Today I had a long knit me & em one that was very comfy with a cardi and then took off the cardi when it got warm.

I’m in a long dress today, no tights. But I have put boots on for the first time this year so there’s no exposed skin

For work I wear tights all year round. Outside work I don't wear dresses so pretty much moved to full length or 7/8ths leggings etc. Though I have worn shorts in the last week, I suspect they have had their last outing of the year.
