If you've been able to buy Pokemon card packs recently, where the fuck did you buy them from?

I need to buy a shitload a good few packs of Pokemon cards - the 'booster packs' that you buy at the tills in shops.

But, apparently, there's a global shortage of Pokemon cards.

If you've managed to buy any recently, where did you get them from, please?

Completely random threat I know!

Local trading card shop - DH came home with a bunch of them for the DC yesterday.

He is getting them into the little card wallets and everything Grin

Japan. I had to go to flipping Japan to get them. The Pokémon stores there were full of grown men buying tons of them.

I bought some Japanese packs from a card shop in South London just yesterday.

I was going to say our local gaming place always has them and I think you can order online from them and then saw they have been mentioned da few times already. I had no idea Chaos Cards was so big! DH and DS are in their actual store at least once a week.

The card is possibly worth a few hundred ungraded but could be worth £800+ if it is graded a 9 or 10. He should send it off for grading. Either way he’s probably better keeping hold of it for now. Destined Rivals packs are still available (although hard to get your hands on!). It’ll probably increase over the next few years.

We went to a Pokémon trading show in Edinburgh in June and DS sold cards for £100 and £80. I was shocked to my core! They were just from normal packs!

I got a tin from Argos recently.
