I really want them but have been to 3 with no luck and they aren't online.

would it not be easier to just buy the spices that already come in jars? That’s what I do.

I use old jars for spices, the small ones that had mint sauce in etc. Although M&S is currently selling off a load of its posh jam range for 25 to 60 p a jar and those would make good spice jars.

The jars that spices come in have to be a contender for the worst designed product in existence as you can't get a spoon in them, which makes them hard to use.

I can't comprehend buying new empty jars, that often cost more than ones that come with food in them. If anyone was serious about cutting waste and saving the planet, that's a product that just shouldn't exist.

Those jars that everyone on social media uses are only for aesthetic purposes, they aren't practical at all for people that actually cook. They hold so little and you can't even get a small spoon into them.

They are usually in the £1 aisle they use as a filler during seasons so you may have to wait until that’s back or buy elsewhere. It’s not the only place that sells spice jars.

They usually have a really poor seal too, so everything goes all hard and unusable

Agree with PP it’s just for aesthetic purposes and a total waste.

Also I cook a lot but would never have spice jars on display. It reminds me of pine kitchens in the 80s with rows of Schwartz jars in a wooden display frame.

Ha, I quite like that whole aestheticGrin

Best chance of those coming back into stock is in January when the seasonal aisles need filling (Easter doesn't take up as much space as Christmas)

I buy most spices in bags and my spice jars are from Ikea (but bought from charity shop). RAJTAN spice jar, glass/aluminium-colour, 15 cl - IKEA UK
