DH & I are chilling after a busy & in my case quite expensive day ( DD16 meets Primark!) It was good to have quality time with her though & we thrashed out a lot of stuff that’s been going on, especially between her & DH. I bought a Maybelline concealer from Boots. Enjoying an AF cider. We went to Asda earlier & got pizzas for tea (pepperoni, meatballs, peppers & mushrooms). I may have a bar of Galaxy in the fridge. Watching Corrie later & I need to catch up with Emmerdale. Feeling satisfied as I’ve done a fair bit of decluttering over the last few days plus organised some of my jewellery. I can do the rest when my additional Temu storage arrives. Already had an acrylic wall mounted necklace holder, a wooden 2 tier bracelet holder & a velvet ring tray. Makes such a difference to display it all.

Quick trip to the pub after work. DH cooked whilst I did bath time for the baby. She’s now asleep but not much chance of it sticking, she’s having a horrible time teething and we all know about it overnight at the moment! Might be time for some chocolate to help power me through the night…

Very quiet and chilled one. Had a movie night with the two youngest. One started high school this week and it been a lot. The other is about to sit entrance exams so needs a nice chilled night cuddled up on the sofa.
They had a kfc and me, dh and the older ones had a Chinese. We are watching police interceptors with the dogs and the kids are either in bed or in their rooms.

We are in day 5 of having a new bathroom fitted so builders in from 7.30am to 3pm and hopefully finishing tomorrow. Had aubergine parmigiana for dinner followed by banana split. Currently floor is setting and we are all supposed to stay off it but of course that's a magnet to the cat. 8.2kgs of him.

We have friends staying from America. They arrived this afternoon and we had tea and cake to welcome them. We’ve played a couple of board games and DH made a fab chilli for dinner. Now we’re chilling and chatting with a glass of mead for them and an AF martini for me.

DH and DS have gone ot the diesel gala thing at Loughborough. DD is at a party. Highly unusually, i have had the house to myself tonight.
I have to go and get DD now tho as we're off to Compbria in Carlisle tomorrow, first comping day ever for me.

Where did you buy your AF martini? I’ve found a few nice AF “ spirits” including Tanqueray gin.

Me and DH crashed on the sofa - been a busy week kids back to school and work full on.
Dinner was a throw it together from the freezer and minute steaks.

Usual disagreements about what to watch on tv - DS wanted Wednesday which we started last week. DD wanted lovely bones as she has nearly finished the book.

Me and DH already seen it so fancied something different, and strongly advised DD to finish the book before movie. We Promised tomorrow night for that one. Kids stomped off upstairs in a huff together to a TV room - this is unheard of them hanging out together - I think some kind of mutiny is on the horizon. I have promised myself to enforce boundaries to put myself first on occasion especially with peri

Ds was sent home from school sick and he went to sleep as soon has he got home. So now he's awake and I'm going to see if he will eat some toast and give him a drink.
The little ones are fast asleep.

Just about to go to sleep right now asDC1 has returned from a party.

DH and I had a bottle of wine earlier and watched Speak No Evil which was brilliant.

DC2 has been chilled tonight (big adjustment going back to school) and went to bed early as there’s a sports event first thing tomorrow.

Dinner was home-cooked food from the freezer and Friday-me was very grateful to last-Sunday-me for that.

I don’t work on Fridays so I did I big shop at CostCo, laundry and cleaned the ovens so that’s all the boring jobs done ahead of the weekend. The cleaners came today so the house is sparkling.

Its been an excellent Friday

Oh I had a lovely Friday night. Got in from work around 6.30, DH had cooked tea (homemade burgers 😋). Straight after tea I had a lovely hot bath with a glass of wine and soaked for a good half an hour with my book.
Then youngest DS and I watched 2 episodes of the Wednesday series on Netflix with snacks and I had another glass of wine. DS14 has been gaming with friends and DH played guitar then had an early night.
Looking forward to a lie in and lazy morning tomorrow.

Mines just started. Kids all out with friends, DH away with work. I'm going to open some wine, smoke a joint order some Thai food and watch our farm on Britbox. Perfect

Had a lovely lamb curry and dessert.Watching Manifest on Netflix now.
