I’ve got money to spend on myself. ME! What do I buy?

So I’ve got cash to spend for a rare shopping trip, upwards of £200 just for me. This hasn’t happened in YEARS. I’m so excited! 😆

Clothes and shoes are high on my list. I’m throwing out my entire wardrobe of sad mum clothes and starting fresh.

And I also want some nice candles or oil burner. Love a bit of nice homeware 😍

What else could I get for myself that’s super nice? What shops are good for candles? And what shops would you go to for clothes? I used to be a TopShop and Debenhams person but they’re gone now!

Don't shop at primark! Not if you want some good quality feel good items. I would rather spend £200 on two jumpers than £200 on 15 items from primark (I don't actually know how much it costs in there as I despise it) Next, joules, TK Max sometimes have good quality for a decent price (good candles too) White Stuff, The White Company has some beautiful bits. Happy shopping!

I’d try on in the shops and then buy BNWT from Vinted to get the most out of the £200.

I actually love clothes from George at Asda ( we have one just for George( no food) and Tu at Sainsbury's... l think great quality for the price and now they are getting in Autumn/ winter stock.

How about something for a hobby or leisure time? Book or craft supplies? Something that you might get some long term benefit from.

Let us know what you get

Liberty advent calendar…. I know it’s not shoes or clothes but it’s so beautiful. Usually contains a candle!

It depends what you need, Uniqlo washes well.

Personally, candles don’t last long, money up in smoke.

Soooo UPDATE 🛍️

I went to Dunelm and got a new oil burner (£4!) and a stack of tea lights (£3.50). I already had the oil sitting in a box, so I treated myself to a candlelit bath when I came home (with a podcast!). 🛀 🕯️ 😌

I grabbed a new watch for £12.99 in TK Max, which I hadn’t planned on getting but it was so SO nice! 😊

Primark I got two pairs of jeans - nothing fancy, just stuff for day to day wear. Probably about £30 total.

Got my eyebrows waxed at a local salon (£12). Haven’t done it in YEARS so I no longer have the eyebrows of a yeti 🤣🤣

And splashed out £80 on some GORGEOUS waterproof walking boots from Sketchers to get me through the winter.

I’ve still got cash left over, so I’m planning to head back to TK Maxx as my local one had an entire rack of Michael Kors coats 🧥 going cheap!

Wandered around H&M and had a nosey in Next - so many nice bits but nothing I ‘needed’.

Think my next shopping trip I’ll look for tops 🛍️ 💵👚
