I know this isn’t a new topic, but perhaps it is worth a revisit from time to time as channels change and develop.

My favourite is Thoughty2. His topics are interesting and his presentation style is engaging.

Im always looking for new channels (non AI narrated) so any suggestions would be great.

Thanks BettyBobble! I've just subscribed to Kays cooking 😅
She's lovely, it's so nice to see/hear someone who could easily pass for a member of my own family 😊

We really like Geography Now, funny and interesting! I would love to find anything which is a 'what it's like to live here' kind of thing from around the world. Any suggestions?

I recently discovered a channel called Tasting History - it's what it suggests, it's this lovely and at times quite funny guy who.cooks/bakes various different historical recipes/dishes and then goes into the history about them and what life was like in that place/country at the time. And he gives things in both American and British measurements luckily, which is far less confusing if you want to have a go yourself 😂

Laura Try- she does different fitness / health for many months and shares her updates. She is so intelligent and relatable. She is a big proponent of high protein and weight lifting for women. Brilliant channel.

Kent Survival - camping and woodcraft (mostly) in Kent
The Outdoor Boys - adventures in the Alaskan wildrness. Sadly no longer being added to but there's a huge back catalogue
Zander Budnick - as above but in Canada
Abroad in Japan - Chris Broad who did a TEFL programme in Japan and never left. Now does documentaries and short films on the quirks of living in Japan, often with very funny contributions from local friends.
BigJet tv - live plane action from UK and abroad. Especially good in stormy weather! Jerry Dyer and his long-suffering sidekick Gilly are legends.
Rick Beato - musician, producer and lecturer in music theory. His 'what makes this song great' series is fantastic especially as he's about my age and shares my musical tastes.
