Is there a teacher at your DC's school with a reputation?

And is it deserved? DC this year has a teacher who is widely known to be excessively strict and is not well liked. I'm interested to see how it goes for him as he's not had any issues before but is very nervous going into her class.

Anyone got any experience of similar? Is it deserved or is it rumour mill/drama stoked up unnecessarily?

So yea I didn't say she was strict

She's a mean bitch

And seems to get away with a lot of it

I call it out and have been in to the school multiple times now

Yes that sounds very unpleasant @hellohellooo.

I'm.hopong our situation is on the firm but fair side, but we'll only know when we know, report from other students and parents may be exaggerated or misinterpreted.

I expect I have a reputation as a strict cow 🤣🤣 Definitely can be a bit of a sergeant major!
But similarly to PP, we all get on in the end. I get good results

Give them grace - hopefully she's just what the wild class needs.

I mean, I honestly think there's probably a sizeable minority of other parents who think this about me. But in my opinion I have standards, and I'm constantly complimented on my DC's behaviour and manners. So if this is where it lands, I'll be very happy. Just odd to see DS so worried. I think the older kids at school have just got into his head a bit.
