Rib cage sizes: if you got skinny in your old age.

NB:
Not that skinny, BMI maybe 19.5, 2-3kg under my most typical adult weight.
No that old, I'm not yet 58 !

When I was young I got measured up (by every setting) as bra size 34D which I found too tight for yrs but nowadays it's alright fit. Out of ideal curiousity just now I measured self and came up with (inches) 30.8 band, almost 37 over bust. I measured repeatedly to verify those numbers.

Victoria's Secret wants me to wear size 30F bra Shock.
They don't even SELL size 30F.

You expect body changes but I didn't realise my rib cage itself would shrink so much. Will it shrink lots more as I get properly old?

Lots of places do sell 30f bras though. Look at bravissimo.

Did your rib cage actually measure 34 inches on the tape measure though? Or was it (eg) 31.5 inches, and they added on the 2 inches that was standard when bras were less stretchy?

99% sure yes 34" on the tape. :)
