Where to get boobs measured

Where do we recommend for breast measures? Don’t like m&s they always say 32DD which never fits me at all, my current size is 32FF. Boux I love their bras but give me a different size each time even for the same style. Have tried myself too but would rather be measured and fitted. I am aware it can vary per shop but would like some proper fitting bras that are fitted too me. Is bravissmo any good or any other recommendations? Thanks ladies x

Bravissimo without doubt

The boob or bust DIY calculator is very good. Otherwise, Bravissimo definitely

Bought 2 comfy, well fitting bras in bravissimo last week. Been using them for 20 years and always end up going back to them.

Can you wash bravissimo bras in the washing machine? They told me I should only hand-wash them and said I should wash them in the shower. Put me off!!

It's worth trying to find out if you have an independent bra fitter in your area. We have one locally (and the only one for miles around unless you want M&S) and you can only see her by appointment, she's too busy for drop ins.
Our Bravissimo closed a few years which made the independent shop even busier.

Bra bag in the washing machine

@Cheese55 so ideally you should wash all wired bras by hand, they can get damaged by the washing machine and ripped up (ask me how I know!). I wash my bras inside a pillow case inside a mesh bag with a draw sting closure with one of those plastic knobs that holds the drawstring closed with the head of the pillow case poking through. So bag in bag and making use of the drawstring keeps everything contained. Don’t just put in the pillow case and not seal it as the bra can escape. Wash on a delicate setting. No issues so far and I’ve been doing it a few years now. Most of my bras are usually in the £40 bracket due to size just to illustrate how much I trust the method. 😁 I don’t trust the zip bags they sell for the job there isn’t enough protection from the washing machine drum for my liking. Double layer, a decent thickness of pillowcase seems to work better.
