You know, I couldn’t imagine anything which might me vote Reform-until I saw…

the trigger warnings on the National Theatre’s forthcoming production of Hamlet.

“Please note: This production contains themes of grief and death, including suicide and the loss of a parent, depictions of madness, violence, and coercive behaviour.”

I mean-if it was a new play you might wander into accidentally…but HAMLET????🤣🤣🤣

I assume Reform will be very much “Down with this sort of thing”?

Oh Goody! Hilarious banter about voting for a racist political party. My favourite 😍

My thoughts exactly!

I’m sorry. I do put in the hours on here fighting the fascists. Thought I might have earned a day off. Obviously not.

Good to hear but your humour is so obscure it's been mostly taken the wrong way.
Wouldn't want people to think you're a flag shagging twat

Eseentially every public organisation in the country spends more time worrying about trigger warnings and the like than actual quality service delivery.

For example: A passing fad of putting St George's Cross' up now, Council's falling over themselves to remove them asap... meanwhile services are on their knees.

The country is run by fools, it is hardly surprising people are desperate to try something new, they thought Labour would be that answer but clearly they are even more useless than the Tories were.

A theatre putting a trigger warning on a Shakespear play is a symptom of a broken country entirely focussed on the wrong things. So yes we need change....

Just own that you like Reform instead of making crap excuses about theatre warnings.

Attictroll · 30/08/2025 12:15

This has f all to do with voting Reform. It’s stupid but won’t inspire me to be a racist bigot.

Absolute rubbish.

blacksax · 30/08/2025 12:19

At least it was Hamlet. Could have been worse...

nearlylovemyusername · 30/08/2025 14:03

I'm feeling very stupid now.

OP, please help me - what does this have to do with Reform?

Are you that easily influenced that something like this can make you vote them?

You're not living in the real world with us working people. Name me one public service that is actually delivering a quality service today?

Everyone I know is taxed to the hilt whilst receiving poor public services with housing in short supply, waiting lists for everything etc.

Why you think more of the same is the solution is beyond me. Change nothing and nothing changes.

Sorry Kate, it just started exactly like one of those innocent threads that ends up in 10 pages of hate!
