always has jigsaws that get snapped up very quickly so might be worth finding your local one and asking there. Otherwise care homes always want jigsaws.

I finished another one in the Ravensburger abandoned series, Decaying Diner. It was dark, but not as much as Hotel Vacancy which was a battle at times. I really want the new abandoned mini golf one now though

I’m unsupervised this week so I did this jigsaw yesterday (mostly to prevent me from repainting the kitchen and crashing out afterwards)

I got to finally complete a puzzle from one of my dream brands! My husband has been taking the toddler out so I can stay home and puzzle in peace. It was a birthday present to myself and the image brought so much joy. I also have Dinner Time by the same artist and I can’t wait for that. I’ve also bought three new Ravensburgers - the Abandoned series ones from the USA puzzle championships, and a new circle of colours which I’ll probably do next because they are so chilled and calming to me.

I’ve done a few since I last posted, I found a proper jigsaw table in a charity shop and wanted to test it out.

Which USA ones did you buy? Tropical vibes from the USA nationals is such a nice puzzle. I have so many puzzles to do, there's just not enough time in the day sometimes!

I got The Final Curtain and Plundered Putt. I love the Abandoned series as a whole. I was umming and ahing over the The Final Curtain because it’s dark and I think it will be hard and a bit frustrating like I found Hotel Vacancy, but other than Lost Empire (which is really rare and expensive when it comes up) I’ll have all of them and I’m a bit of a completionist. I wanted to see the World Puzzle Championship puzzles too before committing to any more because of time and storage space. I’m on a puzzle selling and donating spree at the moment. I also had Mountainside Puzzing in and out of my basket and I might get it, especially as the Elena Essex autumn puzzles I was eyeing up look like they’re US only.

Ahhh I have an abandoned arcade one but I haven't done it yet. I do mostly 500s and have an obscene amount of them, especially as I've bought the ones from national competitions. I need to start a vinted to sell some on 🤣

I love 500 pieces as a form factor because I mostly puzzle in the evening when my toddler is in bed or sneak in some puzzle time at lunch when I WFH and 1000 pieces can feel a bit overwhelming after a busy day. But I love so many 1000 piece images! I need to get on Vinted though, because a lot of 500 piece puzzles aren’t so much cheaper than 1000 pieces even though they’re so much faster 😂

I adore the Circle of Colours puzzles I did my Map one for the last time yesterday before giving it to a friend. I love the Ocean one which was in Worlds and I was part hoping they’d debut new ones this time. I love rainbows and gradients

I only do 500 piece ones because I am slow and our table is small

Can I ask if anyone has any experience of Elena Essex puzzles? I don't do jigsaws very often but my last one was from hobby craft and the quality was...expected given the price. Inspired by the the poster above, I was looking at the circle of colour puzzles and Amazon suggested some Elena Essex puzzles, which look lovely but I don't know how to judge whether it's worth the £20

I love Elena Essex puzzles. quality is generally excellent. One puzzle had a couple of false fits, but that was rare. I love so many of the images which really matters to me when I puzzle. I’m currently very frustrated that their widely marketed Autumn puzzles seem to be US exclusives. They come up on Vinted fairly often and if you hold out they do come up for a good price. They do also discount for Black Friday and Prime Days sometimes. Often not the whole catelogue. The price has crept up though and they’re not that far above the rest of the market to be worth the extra unless you really love the image.

I've only done 1 Elena Essex but it was really nice. I got 2 from the same seller off vinted.

I'd love that circle world puzzle one day but I have so many to do! I have 2 circles which I hope I'm going to love, one is Insects the other is Now Bridge from US nationals.

Ah, that's good to hear, thank you. I'm quite picky with jigsaws and it was the lovely colours in these that drew me in. I'll keep an eye on vinted (and maybe send a few links to DH in the run up to Christmas)

Elena Essex puzzles appear on ebay too, but are often quite contested. I've done the big circle of birds & I think I got 'Favourite Things' as a great find in a charity shop which had an amazing collection of puzzles at £1-£2 each (it's closed now 😥). They're lovely quality. Oh, & I've got the lines of animals one, where the colours get darker as you go down the puzzle - but on mine at least, when you get to the very bottom everything's so dark that it's hard to tell the creatures from the background. I'd recommend them.
