Batch cooking snacks/lighter meals

My chest freezer is back in action after way too long and I'm going to fill it today. I have dinners in the kitchen freezer so I'm looking for ideas for things the teenagers will grab for breakfast or can chuck in the air fryer/snacks. Things that are a faff to make there and then but get eaten on the regular. So far my list is waffles, brown soda bread, white rolls, breaded chicken strips, banana muffins. Any other recommendations?

Fish cakes
Fish goujons/strips
Pasties
Onion bhajis
Samosas
Flapjacks
Stuffed jacket potato skins (you could bake potatoes and use the insides to make the fish cakes, then make these)

If you make your own pizza dough, cooked mini calzones with a variety of fillings.

Excellent, thanks. Calzones, fish fingers and fishcakes will go down well. And I remembered sausage rolls. Flapjacks never last long enough to freeze. I don't think we've ever had stuffed potato skins! That's tonight's dinner sorted.

I am trying (but not very hard) to lose a bit of weight so I freeze half of batches of cakes/biscuits/fruit muffins.
Frittata bites for breakfast.

Unfortunately I just go back again and again for another conveniently defrosted slice of cake if I do that 😂

Chicken wings! Just cooked with salt and pepper, then you can add sauces and/or more aromatics when you're warming them up.

Chicken wings are a good idea 💡

I make sausage rolls and part cook them then freeze them. I just use jusroll puff pastry and take the skin off posh sausages. I would add onion marmalade and mustard but my family don't like it.

You can use an egg to wash over them. They take about 20 mins on gas mark 5, then you can reheat them for about ten-15 minutes.

I also sometimes use herta frankfurta for them. Not very healthy but I like to have a mixture of different sausage!

Yes sausage rolls are brilliant. You can cook them all the way through, too, that way they can be eaten cold once thawed out. They still get nice and crusty if you heat them up again, although not as good as freshly made, of course.

I got sausage rolls, goujons, brown bread, waffles x 2 and breakfast muffins done today. They have barely made a dent in all my new sistema freezer boxes 😀 Also have a ham soaking to cook tomorrow and I realised the bag of potatoes in the back of the cupboard will make very feeezable mash. Or even better, potato cakes.
