Just that really.

Love to hear all what's going on with you.

We are waiting for daddy/dh to come home from work. We have fish and chips waiting. We are going to sort out the laundry after.
Tonight then can do some gaming 🎮

And this weekend we have plans for shopping for new glasses for me and younger dc. Shopping for uniforms and bits for the house, chinese takeaway tomorrow night 🌙 🍴 🍽 🍜
Sunday we are going to visit a museum which is set up like the old days villages. It's lovely and the kids love it as do I.

Son is out in the summerhouse practicing his electric guitar loudly. I’m between the house and garden, just tidying up and doing jobs. DH is upstairs with the babies doing baths and bedtime. My two girls are in their bedrooms watching a movie or scrolling the internet. The dog needs a walk, but I think my son’s going to take her after he finishes his guitar practice. Then I can get on with the laundry and maybe have a glass of wine on the deck.

Ds and I are both saying we aren’t hungry so he’s gaming and I’m MNing.

Im working a few hours tomorrow and he has a friend coming over whilst I’m out.

It’s my birthday Sunday so ds and I will go somewhere for cake 🍰

Waiting to hear that one of my offspring has landed safely, flying to their new work destination. Need to take the dog out for a walk when it gets cooler, might be a short one. Just had a chicken salad for dinner. May go to a vintage tractor rally at the weekend, or a village fete near me.

I finished work at 4pm so have had a couple of G&Ts. DC have gone to their dad's for the week. I'm having a birthday party tomorrow in my garden so have got everything set up for that.
Just made Thai green curry, FWB is on his way for a night of debauchery so I'm having a quick bath 🤣 another gin I think 🤣🤣

Sat outside drinking wine

Bought salads for tea as a burst water main means that we have no water at all.

We are officially in drought with a hosepipe ban, so it is extremely frustrating to have this happen.

Last two weeks have been really busy with work and also having visitors for 5 days (whilst still having to work). Kids have had supper and are now in bed, oldest is watching a bit of TV in bed.

DH is fast asleep on the sofa (still recovering from our visitors). It's autumn here, tomorrow it's only going to be about 10 degrees. We're going into the forest to find chanterelle mushrooms, blueberries and tyttebær. We'll take a little storm kitchen and make lunch in the forest too.

Sunday is a quiet day, probably another forest walk in the morning, Hero Quest in the afternoon. DD starts school on Monday so we'll get things ready as she equal nervous and excited, then DS will need to pack as he goes away to an island on the west coast of Norway for 5 days with his school.

I'll probably try and bake sticky toffee pudding and some yorkshires on Sunday, I try to keep a few English traditions for my kids!

A takeaway 2 nights running.😂😯

Nah, I cooked the fish and chips.
It's youngs cod, fishfinger from Iceland and mains chips. Sorted. And cheaper than takeaway. Today's Chinese is a special treat, we dont usually do takeaway. We have 6 children so does cost a lot if we eat out/order takeaway. This is a special holiday treat.

The dogs are flat out on the tiled kitchen floor after a quick walk around the block (they had long walks at 6 this morning and the run of the garden all day), DH is on his phone mindlessly scrolling.
I have tidied the kitchen, watered all my pots, put away the washing and filled the dishwasher for running overnight.
I’m about to go and have a bubble bath, paint my nails etc and then lay on the bed with a book.
I hate this heat, it makes me tetchy and breathless (have heart failure 🙄), I much prefer it cooler or even rainy!
Nothing much planned for the weekend, will be out with the dogs soon after dawn, I might do more drawing and I’d like to dig out my needlework as I haven’t done any for months - I’ve been knitting but it’s really too warm for it.

I'm no good with heat as well, makes me feel sick to be honest. I wouldn't even want to go on holiday to a hot country. I am definitely an autumn woman and like it under 15 degrees!

Last night we had 9 teens round for a BBQ for dd's 15th. They were all really lovely, so that was fun. DH invited some family friends too so we got to sit and have grown up chat while the teens chatted and the smaller kids went on the trampoline.

I'm up early today to take 3 of the teens (2 of mine, 1 someone else's) to meet their sporting team for an event today. Am hoping they won't wake DH and our youngest but it is unlikely. Am enjoying a peaceful coffee while I wait.

Then youngest is hopefully going to a friend's to play, but he can be a bit funny about going elsewhere without me so we will see. If he does, then I'm hoping DH and I can go for lunch, as we are like ships in the night most of the time. If he doesn't, then the 3 of us will go to a local event, a bit like the County Show.

Tomorrow, both teens have training for aforementioned sport in the afternoon, so not sure other than that.

@Judgejudysno1fan I’m totally in agreement with you re holidays in hot countries.
I used to love hot sunshine, it didn’t bother me at all but now I really don’t like it above 20°
I honestly don’t understand why people go to places like Turkey where it’s too hot to do anything; someone we know is going next week, 45° forecast 🥵 and he admits it will be too hot for the children 🤷🏼‍♀️

I've told my husband our 23y marriage is over. I've moved into the spare room but I am recovering from a very complicated orthopaedic surgery so it's hard.

It's his attitude towards me since I've been back from hospital that is the straw that has broken the camels back.

Feeling sad as I love him.
