Can anyone please recommend dairy free sweets/snacks for a 2 1/2 year old?

It’s for a party and he is allowed sweets. I don’t want him to miss out so I’d appreciate any recommendations for naturally dairy free/vegan sweets.

TIA

Dark chocolate is often dairy free, you can melt it and make top hats. Or make crispy cakes.

Marshmallows are dairy free so you can make crispy cake by melting some and adding rice crispies.

Cake recipes can be dairy free by swapping the butter for marg or oil and Betty Crocker does decent icing (I struggle to get the icing right with marg and sugar at home).

Jelly?

Dairy is quite avoidable...eggs I always found harder to avoid!

Oreos
Haribo
Love Hearts

Party Rings don’t contain dairy but have ‘may contain’ on the label - IDK if that’s ok for him or not

Jelly tots, candy kittens, skittles for sweets

Oreos, iced gems, most bourbon biscuits, sweet & salty popcorn, pretzels, hummus & breadsticks. Obviously check the ingredients but I buy a lot of these & we're a vegetarian/vegan household.

Also 'Oggs' brand of cakes are great & ideal if you need a few party cupcakes.

Have a look at the "free from" section of any big supermarket. There are usually lots of options.

Thanks all. It’s a last minute request for tomorrow morning so not much time to get something so this is very helpful.

Lots of Swizzels sweets (although not all) are vegan. Skittles are vegan. Amazon have a good range of jelly/chewy sweets which are vegan. Sainsbury’s and Asda do quite a lot of vegan chocolates.

Is he vegan? Or is it an allergy? Because there are quite a few things that don’t contain any animal products but which are marked ‘may contain…’. I think that’s because they’re made in a factory that handles milk etc, so they can’t guarantee that they’re suitable for people with allergies.

Haribo, Oreos, fruit flakes, fruit winders, some soreen bars, jammy dodgers, mini gingerbread men, Sainsburys and Tesco do their own brand df chocolate or Moo Free is a good brand.

Best to ask if "may contain" is ok. Usually it is but depends on severity of the allergy.
