Yes the £320 item was an unopened new Tablet, but everything else second hand. Maybe one swimming costume that had tags.
I don't sell at high prices, I aim to sell, that's the key. On Vinted you can set a price, then make offers to people. Or receive offers.
Also upload at weekends in a batch especially back hols. More uploads boosts the algorithm. There's also a brilliant feature called Boost, if you have one expensive item, buy a Boost and then it increases exposure to your whole shopfront on Vinted. The Boost is £1-£3. You then get a flurry of sales over one weekend.
Some examples of sales, Hobbs used coat £60, Fat Face shorts £3, Sho flask (OK that was new) £15. Lots of £1 and £2 items.
I actually invest the money into a stocks and shares ISA so the way I see it is if I sell something for £15, in 15 years time at a 7% interest rate then I have £40, and it cost me £30 to start with.
So its not a huge 'money maker' when you factor in the money spent when buying the item, but it's something that helps. You just have to be careful not to buy more stuff while on Vinted.
Actually just checked, made £444 on Vinted since I started. £320 tablet was sold on Ebay.
