Our DD is 15 and is undergoing an Autism assessment. We have tickets for the pitch in Dublin and I'm worried about her being overwhelmed. She hated London in Dec christmas shopping and cried with sensory upset ) she has been to musicals and lewis capaldi ( indoor ) in the past. we gave her the choice to come. Told her we are not leaving ( huge oasis fans) and she has said no bother. Her Aunt is coming too. Im thinking she should wear ear phones to take the edge off the loudness. Any tips???

Mine is younger so this may not be much use but we take ear defenders. She can't deal with Aldi when it's busy or a shopping centre even but gigs.....different kettle of fish!

She's only eight but has done front of stage for guns n roses at Hyde park and seats in wembley for linkin park as well our local rock festival (circa 6k attendance). Anywhere standing, she does a while (20 mins maybe) and then we take her to an area nearer the edge where she has more space.

She gets absorbed in the gigs but the getting in, gaps between support and main act, then leaving can be tricky. We get her into space and verbally coach her through these parts. For linkin park we coached her that as soon as the last notes of last song finished we would be off, we then verbally coached her through the exit with clear encouragement and marched up the right hand side of Wembley walk.

My number one piece of advice for wembley would be to park or stay "the wrong way" on the tube. She wouldn't have dealt with the queue for the tube heading into London after the gig. I parked in Edgware
