I had FESS and I believe a turbinate reduction yesterday, and oh my god im bored. I’m definitely not in a state to work, but I’m also not napping like i expected to be. Can’t really move my body as my nose bleeds every time I do, but anything that I can do while sat down is a win!

Audio books & podcasts helped me while recovering after a mastectomy. Also developed a mild gaming habit mainly wordle, mahjong, tetrus & of course MN.

I’ve watched six episodes of a Netflix show this morning 🙈 I might download some books onto my kindle to break the screen habit a bit 😅

I did some needle felting when unwell for a while, it was quite good stabbing something as well as making something nice!

Crafts like diamond painting, latch-hooking, crochet, cross-stitch…

Online shopping for all your Christmas stuff! You could even write your cards and wrap presents.

Learn something new! I broke a limb earlier this year, and it happened to coincide with me starting a postgrad degree course. I was so productive, because all I could really do was sit at my computer and learn the stuff they were telling me to learn. In my case it was coding. But if that's not your bag, what about a language (Duolingo), learning how to do cryptic crosswords (if you don't already), or something like that?

I'd also do something like listen to audiobooks and knit, to get a break from screen time.

Have you got anything you need to plan for your house or garden? You could spend the time e.g. coming up with a planting plan for your garden's borders or something similar for your house

There are some free online open university courses if you Google.

You could learn a new language or find out more about some random bit of history or whatever floats your boat.

I did a few while recovering from surgeries.
