In a few days I may need to post a card but I 100% don't want the area where I live to be franked on the envelope. Is there a way to avoid it? Plan B I send the card to you and you post the card for me.

Send a card from Moonpig, the only identifying thing is whatever name you sign it with.

go have a nice day out somewhere and post it from there.

Thank you to those that have offered to post for me. I wouldn't be sending it unsealed though. Gosh, what a request.

I have already said why to those that asked again.

Having seen a couple of moonpig cards I'm not sure they would allow for the length of my explanation.

I'm debating whether to ring them now but think a letter would be better as they have proved they can't have a conversation.

If you go and buy a normal stamp they wouldn’t be able to trace you

Are stamps not franked with the area anymore? It's been a while since I've had a card through the post.

You can buy giant moonpig cards (although granted depending on the tone of the message a giant card might not be appropriate) but in any size card you can also use both sides of the inside of the card and adjust the font size as necessary. You could easily get a few hundred words in a standard sized card if you needed to. Surely that must be easier than faffing about travelling across county borders or posting it to someone else to post?

Noo, you can even order stamps online, I’ve never received a letter and it given away where the person is sending from (unless abroad of course)

Forgot to add its barcodes on the new ones

If you do really have doubts still I don’t mind posting for you (providing we’re not local to one another) and you can seal it, I couldn’t care less what you have wrote inside

Lionness5 · 29/07/2025 18:47

It used to be that when the envelope was franked it said where it was posted, that is why I asked.

I have come up with a solution but thank you to everyone who has offered help and suggestions.

My safety and privacy is vital.
