I live in Brighton. As a child, my year at primary school was invited to play on the Palace Pier (lots of rides free!) as a backdrop to Five O'Clock Club. They split the recording into two programmes, and I appeared alone at the start of the second one, on a swing-boat. My cousin, who lived in Sunderland, shouted to my aunt "our Susan's on the telly!"

I've been on a few times, but never more than background really.

At school we had a new AstroTurf opened by someone like the minister for education at the time, and my back was on the news.

As an adult I've been viewed in the background with my dc, normally dd2 a number of times, the most prominent for her was on the One Show where she was memorably asked what she wanted to do when she grew up - the others all having given ambitious answers, she replied "play lots of games".🤣
About 15 years later she still holds to that.
