So Jeremy Corbyn has formed a new Party, only problem is he has no name for it yet.
Shall we have a guess and see if anyone picks it correctly ?

My guess, Alternative

Why do you think everyone who lives in North Islington is a millionaire? Most people live in social housing or private rental.

He actually cares about poor people. That's why he's popular in Islington among all social groups.

Wot, are you quite alright? Can you point to the bit where it says everyone in North Islington is a millionaire?
Corbyn, however, definitely is. Inherited wealth and massive unearned property value inflation plus hugely generous state funded salary and an enormous pension. Not to mention the additional almost £50,000.00 salary enhancement that he accepted (though didn’t have to) for being leader of the opposition. I’m glad he ‘cares’. He can afford to.

Ok then let's find a politician that is literally broke and lives on UC. If being wealthy means you can't care about poor people.
I bet you've never been to his constituency.

Lol, yes 'literally broke and lives on UC' is definitely the only alternative to being a millionaire. Guessing you don't do nuance, only extremist. Rather like Jeremy.

HerewardtheSleepy · 25/07/2025 15:57

The "Split the Vote and Let the Tories in Party".

Possibly the "Split the Vote and Let Reform in Party".

Anyone who relies on "nuance" in politics is losing.

If only Jeremy Corbyn had even a milligram of charisma he'd be on to a winner.

As it is - pffft.

Testerical · 26/07/2025 23:34

the conservative/ reform coalition party.

Because that is what will happen if someone sets up a party right now to split the leftist vote.

50Balesofgrey · 26/07/2025 23:34

How about the Combined United Non Tory party. Acronym should suit him.
