Since I got married in the South, of course I was given my own set of mint julep cups for a gift. The giver must've thought I was posh and would know exactly what they were used for...they were sterling silver and about 5 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter....I didnt have a clue...we served our adult beverages in those red plastic cups.
