Eating in the Cotswolds today? Ideas?

I’m looking to eat around 4pm-5pm today, with 2 tweens who eat anything. Pub grub or farm cafe type place. Must be good food, but not Michelin or ridiculous in price! Any ideas?

The Cotswolds is a pretty large area …

Not Jeremy’s place. Queue will be horrendous. This time of year I’d just go in the first place you can find that’s got space. It’s usually heaving.

Happy to go to any of the typical villages and towns across the Cotswolds.

Where is "typical Cotswolds?"

If you're near Castle Combe, there's no point people suggestinv somewhere in Broadway or Woodstock

I am driving from outside of the area - I am happy to go to anywhere in the Cotswolds. I like Broadway, Morton in Marsh, Stow. I’m happy to try anywhere new. Just want a nice tea with my tweens!

Come a bit further south to the Cirencester area and it won't be quite as heaving as the north. Jolly Nice farm shop at Minchinhampton is good. Hope you have a lovely day.

There's this great thing called Google Maps, it shows you all the restaurants near to where you happen to be, you should check it out.

Daylesford is lovely.

The Stump Pub near Cirencester does amazing Pizzas

The Horse and Jockey at Bourton on the Hill is really good and it’s a beautiful village

What sort of meals are available? I can’t see an eat in menu online.

My favourite place to eat in the UK is The Woolpack in Slad

Lots of farm shops close at 4 pm ish. The Bell in Charlbury is very good, will serve all day

Pit kitchen is excellent, locally sourced fresh food cooked outdoors it’s fun and all under cover too if needed.
