Paris for DD’s 18th - budget?

I want to take DD to Paris for her 18th in October.
I haven’t been since I was 16 and barely remember the trip. Is it crazy expensive these days?

Thinking Eurostar (cheaper than flying?) and staying for 3-4 nights? To stay somewhere nice and do the key sights how much are we looking
at?

recommendations also please on hotels and must do sights for a romantic girl who loves fashion and glamour!

You should look at your dates on Eurostar and booking.com for an idea on travel costs and the type of hotel you’d like as it would be more accurate than asking for a figure on mumsnet.
Then decide which sights you want to see and price them up. Otherwise it’s all how long is a piece of string!

thanks for your input… I’ll rephrase.
suggestions on hotels please (Sex and the City firmly in my mind!)

if you’d never been to Paris before what are the must sees?

October half term

Must see for me are the D’Orsay and the Orangerie.

Oh, Paris!
Eurostar may not be cheaper but it should be less hassle.

Have a scrounge on Airbnb. There are lots of good options but they are more expensive than most cities b/c ... it's PARIS!! I stayed in a good 2-bed between L'Asassain and the Cannibale Café in Bellevue. My favourite hotel, le royal phare (near the Eiffel Tower), has gone crazy and rooms there are ££££.
le Palais Galliera - a fashion museum
L'Orangerie for the waterlilies
Ste. Chappelle b/c it's just amazing and off the usual path
Le musée du Moyen Age for the unicorn tapestries
A first trip to Paris requires a death march through the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa and the Winged Victory.
Notre-Dame de Paris - because it's open!!!
Up the Eiffel tower and the Arc deTriomphe - if you are near the Eiffel Tower at lunchtime wander to Rue Cler for a good variety of cafés and food shops. Likewise, around le musée du Moyen Age and Fontaine St. Michel there are good lunch spots.
Bon voyage!
