Hi,

We have a small yard/garden, it had artificial grass over patio slabs which we have removed to go back to the patio as was old and tatty, the slabs are a light beige/stone colour, but obviously need a good clean up, any product to recommend or should I hire a pressure washer? Thank you for any tips!

Go for a pressure washer - it's great fun and the results will amaze you!

On my old concrete patio I used Patio Magic to remove all moss and algae.
I applied Sika setting sand in gaps then this amazing sealer mixed with a bit of tint

I do want to have a go too! Haha. Do you use with just the water or put down any product/solution first?

I just use water - we have got a cleaner that came with the machine and I'm threatening to use that on a little paved area at the far end of our garden which is very grubby now.

I’ve got a Bosch power washer. Don’t use any products, just blitz, and results are great. Gets rid of weeds, and cleans the slabs, very satisfying.

Definitely a pressure washer. We’ve a large patio and it makes cleaning it easy and quite fun!

Be very careful not to direct the spray at your feet, children or animals!

Ah thanks everyone:) my dad actually has one, I'm not sure how powerful, but I am going to borrow that and see how it turns out, but I get the jist normally just water is sufficient to bring up a lot brighter/cleaner? I wasn't sure if to buy something or maybe some bleach water scrubbed in with broom before power washing but maybe unnecessary

Pressure washing is great but it uses a lot of water. If you are in a hosepipe ban area you won’t be able to do it until the ban is lifted.
