I’m a factor 30 girl! Never really go below that tbh- just seems like a good solid choice lol what about you? Ps I don’t mean on holiday I mean a nice hot day at the local park (like now)

  1. I’m covering the kids in it so use the same one. So much nicer than it used to be, not like the white gloop which didn’t use to rub in properly.

Factor 50 for me, all year round on my face.

Two skin cancers already removed (both from my face) so I try to be very careful.

I remember my uni years on holiday abroad using factor 2- what was I thinking! I hate the thought of getting burnt

Factor 50. Wouldn’t want anything lower.

MsNevermore · 12/07/2025 23:30

50 on any exposed skin, my moisturiser I use every morning contains spf 30, but then I top that up with an spf 50 sunscreen specifically for facial skin…..I live in the desert so it an absolute must.
The UV index where I am is constantly high - estimated 10 minute burn time at the moment.

50 because it lasts longer? I don't see any point in a lower one.

I also use the same as the kids on my body 😂
We've got a water and sweat-proof spray on one at the moment and I really like it!

50 - I burn after not very long at all so top up incredibly frequently too!

Factor 50. I know 4 people who have had skin cancer and 1 died from it. No point risking it imo (UK)
