Snacks for flight

Hi all! Flying next week, early flight, 7am, flight time of 4 hours.

3 kids aged 7, 12 and 15.

Any ideas for snacks I can buy the day before we fly? Thought maybe meal deal from tesco, won't bring the drinks, soren bars.

Bringing enough is really important due to eldest having asd and youngest is constantly hungry if bored! Will have screens, uno, and cards with us too!

We have only driven to france the last few years so can bring everything!

What sort of things will they eat? Be aware there might be a passenger on board with a nut allergy which should be announced

You can't keep feeding a kid because they're bored.

A meal deal should be fine and then lunch at the other end.

I suppose breakfast things like pains au chocolat, cereal bars and fruit would be easy to take and might be what you'll fancy at that time of day.

Steer clear of nuts. People with serious nut allergies are surprisingly common, and if one is on board you won’t be allowed to eat them.

Yes will stay away from nuts, they aren't fussy eaters. I understand about not just feeding but honestly having bits will definitely make it easier for all!

What do they normally snack on in the mornings and bring that? My kids are little - my eldest is the same age as your youngest - but they'd eat things like this as a morning snack on the go : fruit - pear/apple/banana/easy peeler, soreen, babybells, breadsticks, cereal bars, rice cakes, dried fruit e.g. dates, raisins, yoghurt or chocolate covered cranberries, yoghurt covered strawberries, apricots, Quorn picnic eggs.
