Hi, I have found a few of these bugs in my bed, there very very small, I had to zoom in a lot to get them on camera. They dont jump or fly. You can squash them with a bit of force and I sent this clip to an exterminater which says not a bed bug but im not sure what it could be.. anyone els had these and know what they were? I washed my bedding and the next morning they were back in bed with me!

Carpet beetles, plaster beetles (new build?) or weevils?

Try emailing the Royal Entomological Society, they have a form to fill in if you google them.

Yes very common in the UK and harmless. They drift around in the air before a thunderstorm so they seem to thrice in hot humid breezy weather.
Sometimes called stormbugs because of this.

Just chuck them out of the window.

They definitely won't be bed bugs? That's what I dont want right now

Storm flies. They seem to be attracted to white fabric. DP cycled to the gym and came back with loads on his T shirt. Harmless but itchy if they land on you!

Wannabe entomologist here Grin they're thrips too small to be any of the dermestid beetles or their larvae. Totally harmless.
