When karma caught you

We (I) have neglected the garden for the last 2 years (bereavement, grief, dealing with family MH issues). Day 3 and 16 hours in I randomly had a thought ‘what excuse in the world do people who have a small garden/yard and who do not work have not to have a tidy, clean area’ literally 2 seconds later my secateurs fell out of my back pocket and stabbed me in the ankle. When did Karma last bite you in the arse/ankle. Lighthearted obviously!!

I took the dog for a walk in the grounds of a stately home. Parked up, walked through the pedestrian gate, and then ddog pooped in front of a gate to the grounds for cars (locked). I decided not to pick it up, telling myself it wasn't anywhere pedestrians would walk.
We had a nice walk, and when we came back to the carpark there was a woman hanging over the gate. She shouted to me, asking if I'd seen her spaniel, which had run off. I went closer to talk to her, and stepped in the poo.

And this is why we need the laughing emoji returned. 😂😂

There was a work event happening in the city I live in with some of my more tolerable colleagues. I couldn't be arsed to go so I lied and said I wasn't available. I thought that'd be the end of it.

Things were swapped around (not because of my availability, for other reasons) and I was reassigned to another date for the event. I couldn't lie about being unavailable this time so I had to go. But this time it was in a city 80 miles away and with my most awful colleagues.

Serves me right, I should've just sucked up the first scenario.
