Did anyone watch Location, Location, Location last night - autism

I watched Phil Spencer show a lady houses and although I didn't catch the show from the start it did include references to her autism. For example she found it hard to visualize her furniture in the rooms.

I found he was very respectful and was very good to have ND in a positive light.

I watched it. He was really considerate and patient. Really nice to see.

Was really good. Instead of saying they are ND inclusive, he actually was inclusive and so kindly done.

I want to watch it on catch up tv

Is not being able to visualise things like that an autistic trait? I can't do that and have just been referred for an ASD assessment, so it's interesting if that is the case

I think that's what was said on the programme.

Why are you seeking a diagnosis, or more so how has it come about?

ND varies, whilst I do not watch property programmes it is good to read of the respect shown.

This sounds fantastic. I had a presentation at work recently from a colleague with autism and it really opened my eyes to the little things I can do that will make her life a lot less difficult (and require hardly any effort from me).

I've struggled my whole life and felt I was autistic since my teens. I've only just had the confidence to ask for a referral for an assessment. My GP agrees and thinks it's likely I am autistic.

Great. Hope you get the diagnosis

Struggling to visualise things can be an ND trait. I’m AuDHD and it’s actually one of my strengths, but I have a friend who can’t visualise at all. You can’t describe an area to her, she just can’t picture it!
Sounds like the show was good, I’ll make a note to watch it.

Is unable to visualise the same as unable to do "make believe" as a child? I think that's one of the questions for autism.
