At last I've changed (hairdresser)

After 15 years of going to the same place and getting more and more disappointed with the finish, I've just plucked up the courage to go somewhere else.
Talking to Dil I was complaining again and she said I don't need to keep going there.
Fortunately the place I phoned is able to fit me in tomorrow. (Lots of people I know go to this one)
How long have you been going somewhere but not happy with the results.

I like having short hair and I had a really good hairdresser who did it nicely, but then she went on maternity leave and I was passed onto another hairdresser. She hasn't returned from her leave and my hairdresser just wasn't cutting my hair very well. I couldn't style it and it wasn't very feminine. I'm now growing it into a short bob. Boring, but safe. I've still got to find a new hairdresser though.

Good luck with your new stylist.

Good for you for making the change OP.
I wouldn't have stayed with any hairdresser that didn't give me the results I was hoping for.
However it takes a lot of looking to find someone who does a good job.
Good luck with your new stylist, nice that you know a lot of people that go there already, perhaps make it easier to tell her exactly what you would like.

Went to the new place and I'm so happy with my hair cut.
Booked my colour for a few weeks time.
Problem is do I let my old hairdresser know that I'm not coming again.
Should I send a message as don't want to leave on bad terms.

Following as my hairdresser has become far too expensive for the results. I have a recommendation of a new one so I’m going to ‘cheat’.. and then what happens if the new one is a hit? Do you break up with your hairdresser? 🤣

I went to a new hairdresser after several years of being unhappy with paying loads of money and never really being happy with the results.

This one costs much less for a wash and cut than I was paying for a dry cut before, and she cuts my hair really well. She never seems to be really busy though so I'm really hoping that she doesn't chuck it in.
