Is your favourite season the one you were born in?

Sorry if this has been done before. If it has I have missed it. I know there will be exceptions but it’s true for me. I was born at the end of July and my favourite season by far is summer (though I do have an appreciation for spring and autumn) My best friend was born in jan and lives for the winter.

Is this theory largely true or nonsense?

Born in January and yes, love the cold of winter.

TheWibble · 17/06/2025 23:16

No. I was born in spring and love autumn.

OntheBorder1 · 17/06/2025 23:24

No. I was born in winter, and my favourite season is autumn, followed by summer. Winter is my least favourite.

Hysterectomynext · 17/06/2025 23:25

The one my son was born in is my favourite. Love that boy

CrackSpackle · 17/06/2025 23:41

Yes. Born in autumn, love autumn the most.

Runningismyhappyplace50 · 17/06/2025 23:52

No. Born in autumn but favourite season is Summer.

SpottedDonkey · 17/06/2025 23:54

Yes. I was born in the middle of summer, and that is definitely my favourite season.

MsNevermore · 17/06/2025 23:55

Yeah, I’m a late September birthday and I’m definitely an autumn/winter person.

The second half of the year is great in my family, we have DC3’s birthday, swiftly followed by mine. Then DC2’s birthday followed by Halloween which is massive here in the US. Then we still celebrate bonfire night even though we aren’t in the UK anymore! Then we have Thanksgiving, then it’s time to put the Christmas tree up 😍

repeatingabaselessclaim · 17/06/2025 23:57

No from me, and actually , speaking for my DH, my DS's, & DD, they all prefer the opposite season to their birth seasons!

BertieBotts · 17/06/2025 23:58

No. I was born in June and I don't like winter or summer. I am comfortable for about 3 days of the year, everything else is too extreme temperature wise 😂

PermanentTemporary · 18/06/2025 00:06

Yes! Spring and spring.

Yes, born in Autumn and it's my favourite season

Me too. Birthday then Halloween and Christmas - what's not to like?

uncomfortablydumb60 · 18/06/2025 00:45

Yes! I'm a New years Eve baby and love cold, crisp days
i seem to lack an internal thermostat and I'm much happier in the winter

Snorlaxo · 18/06/2025 00:46

Yes.
I’m born in October and thinks it’s a fab time of year. Love Spring too.

My least favourite is summer.

SammyScrounge · 18/06/2025 01:18

Yes. I was born at the beginning of November. and.i always feel extra comfortable when autumn begins.

coxesorangepippin · 18/06/2025 02:44

Born in Winter, and I'm not gonna lie, I do love the winter but I'd say autumn is my favorite 🍂

RampantIvy · 18/06/2025 07:13

Halloween and Christmas - what's not to like?

Not a fan of either TBH.

CoughCoughLaugh · 18/06/2025 07:18

Nope, early March born but think I suffer from SAD so love the long evenings and heat of summer.

WolfFoxHare · 18/06/2025 07:20

Born in spring, and it’s my favourite season. My husband was born in summer and it’s definitely not his favourite as he hates being really hot.

boobot1 · 18/06/2025 07:23

No, born in summer, love cold, crisp, cosy winters.

SardinesOnGingerbread · 18/06/2025 07:40

Hell no, I loathe winter.

Summerbean · 18/06/2025 08:54

Born in July, can’t wait to get to October unless it's a cool September!

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · 18/06/2025 09:03

It is but I'm pretty sure in my case it's coincidental: born in autumn, love autumn, fucking hate birthday.

2chocolateoranges · 18/06/2025 09:06

I was born in the summer of 1976 when there was a heatwave in the uk and my favourite season is summer. I love sunny days.

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 18/06/2025 09:10
