How to improve cognitive skills in teen

My 14-year old DS is struggling massively with his cognitive skills. He has autism, ADHD and epilepsy, all are being dealt with by the appropriate professionals.

However, I wondered in the meantime what we can do to try & support development or at least slow regression? We already watch TV in his school foreign languages each day & he takes Omega 3 supplements. Diet is not restricted. He attends Explorers once a week, which helps due to fresh air & social interaction.

Would love to hear any ideas, thanks in advance.

Is he fluent in the language that he is being educated in? We are currently deciding where to send DD for primary school and I am leaning towards a school that is conducted in her mother tongue as I worry she'll struggle otherwise. Not just during classes but I wouldn't be able to help with homework etc.

Just to add - I don't think watching TV really engages their brains properly unless it is something you are watching white actively and talking about. Do you have plenty of books available to him?

He is being taught both languages at school. He is very good at the written element but struggles with listening. Being a linguist myself, I have found that hearing the language definitely helps.

We do have plenty of books available in both the foreign languages & in English, but he is not really interested, due to his disabilities.
