For me it’s persistently work. I wonder how different my life would be if I didn’t have to work.

what about you?

Children. SEN.
My work is actually really good and tolerant of me having various crisises.

Work and my elderly parents. I don't have children, and I don't get involved in close friendships, so that's two sources of stress eliminated. I am a chronic worrier and feel stress over all sorts of things you haven't listed. Health is a big one.

My list in order of most stress is elderly parents (separated so double the work) household chores like housework, laundry, cooking and keeping on top of the garden, friends. Son and work are joint last. I don't have a partner, separated from my husband last year so that reduced that stress

Health. Making everything too hard at the moment.

ThomasShelbysfagend · 12/06/2025 08:25

Family. My fucking family.

Ds 12 over last few weeks not wanting to get up, get out of bed, go to school.

Ive pretty much gone no contact with my mother and siblings.

My closest most adored family members have suffocating anxiety and depression.
It suffocates and overwhelms me, is extremely stressful and challenging to cope with so again I have distanced myself.

Marriage down the pipes completely, I’m stuck though for the foreseeable, still just carrying on.

Im lonely I suppose with no one reliable who cares anything about me to go to.

Whiskyfromsmallglasses · 12/06/2025 08:26

Forgot health. That's a joint second with household chores

CeeJay81 · 12/06/2025 08:39

For me it's the Combination. Work isnt particularly stressful but if I could work part time, it would def make things easier. Too much to do, think about and remember. It's mental overload some days.

Fearfulsaints · 12/06/2025 08:50

The sen education system is a constant source of stress for me.

TheGrimSmile · 12/06/2025 08:51

Worrying about my children; then the stress of health problems. Don't really stress about work, friends or partner at all.

FranksInvisibleLlama · 12/06/2025 09:18

Children, both of them but especially SEN teenager who is unable to attend school. I have a very stressful job that’s currently going through a very stressful change, but it’s still less stressful than home.

Enigma53 · 12/06/2025 09:26

My health 100%
