Does anyone have a bucket list?

If you've got a bucket list, what sort of things are on it?

One of my friends was talking about putting one together. I'm not very adventurous, so thought maybe a bucket list would give me a few aims

I'd like to go back to Edinburgh sometime in my lifetime and when I've got more time volunteer work with the horses locally - not really sure that's something for a bucket list though. I need inspiration.

I have... I've achieved three off the top of my head... As a child I saw Simon Groom on Blue Peter doing an aerial slide off Tower Bridge over the Thames and always wanted to do one.. In 2002 I did a slide off the top of HMS Belfast over the river and raised £600 for the NDCS..
I always wanted to do a mud slide after seeing The Jewel Of The Nile and have done the Muddy Race For Life twice.
Also seeing Bruce Springsteen live in 2023. After getting married and having both my boys that comes fairly high up there!! 💕 💕 💕 💕 💕

You can put whatever you like on your bucket list.

It doesn't have to be thrilling, exotic or dramatic, it can be anything you'd love to do or a place to visit, but haven't got round to it yet.

I'm toying with putting a trip on The Flying Scotsman on mine.

I think your BL needs a range of how easy they are to do. Otherwise it’s just a list of unattainable dreams. Here are some of mine:
1 Take the historic tram in my city (9 years, 8 of which it was closed for renovations. I could do it tomorrow but it’s not convenient for all the family).
2 Tour Wales (April next year, planning has started).
3 Read and understand Joyce’s Ulysses (currently 3 months into a reading group).
4 Learn to swim confidently (stopped in lockdown and haven’t been back).
5 Go on a cruise (I’m tight and picky).
6 Visit Canada (who knows…)
7 Buy a realistic wig and a new wardrobe, move somewhere nobody knows me and live a completely different life (not going to happen)!

Just remembered another thing I want to add... Going to Skomer and seeing the puffins.

Yes I have a list but it isn't bungee jumping off a bridge in Thailand or a laminated sheet on the fridge. Just simple things I would like to do. Some are more adventurous than others and involve travel within the UK but also far flung like Japan (not sure the children would want us to go without them, they are very young adults) some are simple things to read, or films to watch or rewatch.

A few of mine, back to Edinburgh, Tenby, Venice and Cornwall to remember those times we had there. New adventures, Highlands of Scotland, Norway, Rocky Mountain Rail in Canada, ride the Colorado river through the Grand Canyon, Japan and South Korea. Attend a fantasy ball at the Bodleian library Oxford in an incredible ball gown- you can do this I just need to persuade Dh.

I agree you need a mix of smaller and bigger things. Here are mine:

Visit Norway (I've ticked this one off)
Try a pottery class
Go on an Alaskan Cruise
Take DDs to the Natural History Museum in London
See Bon Jovi in concert (I've ticked this one off too)
Visit Athens
Write a book (probably never going to happen!)

I'm not very adventurous either OP. I would like to own my own home (bit of a pipe dream), take some time to explore the British Isles by train, (or van, if I ever get a driving license), go and see the Alps & have a doggy companion. I might like to see the Isle of Man too, as I've never visited.

I like this idea! I’m going to start one:

see the northern lights
go on a safari
Hot air balloon ride
