How many bedrooms vs children do you have?

Our children have their own bedroom (3 bedrooms/2 children). I would love another child but sadly we aren't likely to ever be able to move again. There 6 years between them and there's be at least 7 years between the youngest if I had another baby. I know in times gone by this would be no issue but I can't see how it would be responsible in this day and age for me to change that again for my eldest and risk her having to share again. I know how much it's changed for the better since we last moved. I know it's not a one size fits all approach for all families but I wondered on the ratios in your home and how you cope with it?

4 beds, 2 baths and downstairs loo, just me living here as children are adults with their own homes. Did have 2 children here, each with their own room. Grandchild often stays over, have changed what was her mother's room into her room.

I have 3 bedrooms and I child still at home, one moved out. But when second child was born we only had two bedrooms and not enough space for at least 3 years. I didn't overthink it too much, if I had we probably wouldn't have him!

5 bedrooms and 3 kids, so everyone has their own plus we have a guestroom. We love a spacious house and hoping for additional bedroom(s) soon- but no additional kids!

1 child, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Means we have a guest room and a home office/study.

I'm older than most around here and I think it's good for DCs to share a room as long as they are the same sex and not too far apart in age. It let's them learn how to share and co-operate. Don't get me started on en-suites for children.

What would you far apart be? I think we've crossed that terrority with my teen and soon to cross it with my son as at this stage he would be 12 when baby would be 5. I guess as PP have done us parents could sleep in the lounge which wouldn't be ideal. At this stage it feels the benefits of sibling don't outweigh the costs and I feel I have to put my existing children's needs as a priority.
