Good Morning Everyone! What's everyone up to today?

I've just finished my first cuppa of the day and dd1, who is at work shortly, has made us both a coffee. The kittens have had breakfast and gone back upstairs - boy cat was turning on and off the dehumidifier to wake me up this morning 🤣. Goodness knows when he learned to do that!

We have individual plans today - dd1's at work from 12:30, dd2 wants to revise for her upcoming GCSE mock exams and I'm off for a wander in town. I've finally found some nice, strappy, tops that don't sit too low & make me feel weird about wonky cancer boob so will pick up a couple of those.

When I get in, I'll finish off base-painting my latest peg dolls, ready to add their details tomorrow.

I think we're having spag bol for tea later, then I want to have a look for some cursive practise worksheets or something to help improve the look of my cursive writing over the summer holidays.

Also need to sensibly consider whether Trnsmt festival is do-able with dd1 or not 🤔. We both really like the lineup but dd1 will need a sub.

Tonight will probably be chill & doom scroll for an hour for me, before an early night 💤

Afternoon, Saturday crew! I’m heading back home on the bus after doing a quick round of grocery shopping in town. The weather is absolutely dreadful over here too.

When I get back home, I’m diving into some work then I’ll eventually get some cleaning done later today or tomorrow.

We’ll have lots of cheese, crackers, french bread, and salad for dinner. Afterward we’re going to catch up on The Handmaid’s Tale. Have a good Saturday everyone!

We’ve walked the puppy, just had sausage sandwiches for lunch and I’m thinking about making another coffee.

Oldest son is on his way to us and then later this afternoon the three of us are heading up to Manchester to see Morrissey tonight.Youngest son is puppy sitting while we’re out.

Afternoon everyone! I had a lazy morning then walked the dog. I took the dc to an activity and watched. We ate at a funny time as got food out so easy tea later. Today has been a nice distraction as dp and I seem to be at crossroads. Shortish relationship in limbo over whether we want the same things so I’ve been a bit emotional! But I’ve got a good book to read while dc play PlayStation.

we got rescue hens (caged until 72 weeks of age then culled unless saved) from Fresh Start for Hens.

Evening all.
I have had a monumentally dull day. Slobbed about in the morning, getting washing and house stuff done.
Had lunch called into see my mum, she was out.
Went to Markies for a summer beauty bag and a dine in for 4. Bags sold out and unless you wanted potatoes several ways the dine in was crap.
Went to Sainsbury's for easy tea (gammon steaks and crinkle cut chips) and wine
It's also been torrential rain most of the afternoon. I'm done with today. Opening the wine shortly

Those bags are a fab price, aren’t they? Wonder how long they’ll be available for.
